Winterfest Location
The park is off US 6, in Warren County, near the town of Clarendon, and is adjacent to Allegheny National Forest and State Game Lands 29.
Shuttle service will be provided between event locations from 10am to 5pm provided by WCVB.

Polar Bear Plunge

Take the plunge for a good cause! All proceeds from the Polar Bear Plunge go to the Salvation Army.

Sled Dogs of Smokey Hill will be at Warren Winterfest again this year – a favorite from last year!

What if there is no snow?
Winterfest will still be a fun-filled event, even if there isn’t snow. We will have lots of fun activities, and will adapt with the weather.
We will not have the sledding races this year, but sledding will be open if there is snow.
What if the lake is not frozen?
We will still have all the events and have lots of winter-weather fun!
Will the sled dogs be racing this year?
Sled Dogs of Smokey Hill will be at Winterfest 2025! There will be a sled dog demonstration, as well as a meet & greet.
Where is Winterfest?
Warren County Winterfest will be held at Chapman State Park, located at 4790 Chapman Dam Rd, Clarendon, PA 16313.

Will there be food options?
Yes! We are excited to have Chapman State Park’s concession stand open during Winterfest 2025, serving White Cane Coffee.
Is there an entrance fee?
No – Winterfest is free to attend. There will be many free events and activities through out the day.
The organized mountain bike ride is free to participate.
Champan State Park will be providing family-friendly & educational activities for everyone to enjoy.
There will be an ice safety demonstration by the Glade VFW before the Polar Bear Plunge.
The Polar Bear Plunge is a fundraiser for Salvation Army, and is free to watch.
There will be a free sled dog demonstration and meet & greet with Sled Dogs of Smokey Hill.
There will be food & drinks available for purchase during the event at the concession stand.
There are fees for the carriage rides by Double C Ranch.
There are fees to enter the Chili Cook-off.
There are fees to enter the ice fishing tournament.
Do I need to pre-register for any of the events?
You do not need to pre-register for any of the Winterfest events. Registration will be taken day-of for all events.
We do ask for pre-registration for the Polar Bear Plunge, since it is a fundraising effort. Pre-register HERE for Polar Bear Plunge.
Registration sheets for the fishing tournament, cardboard sled dog races, & polar plunge will be made available at the event.
