Winterfest Location
The park is off US 6, in Warren County, near the town of Clarendon, and is adjacent to Allegheny National Forest and State Game Lands 29.
Shuttle service will be provided between event locations from 10am to 5pm provided by WCVB.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if there is no snow?
Winterfest will still be a fun-filled event, even if there isn’t snow. We will have lots of fun activities, and will adapt with the weather.
We will not have the sledding races or kayak races if there is no snow.
What if the lake is not frozen?
The ice fishing tournament will be bank fishing if the lake is not frozen over to allow for ice fishing.
Will the sled dogs be racing this year?
We are hoping to host sled dog races this year, but it is snow dependent. If there is enough snow, there will be three days of sled dog races, all beginning at 9:00 am:
Friday: 32-mile race
Saturday & Sunday: Sprint Races

Will there be food options?
Yes! We are excited to offer several food options available for purchase during this year’s Winterfest.
We welcome back Soup Kitchen and their famous chili from 10:00 am until sold out, located in the vendors tent. First come, first serve – they sell out every year!
Warren’s favorite food truck – Tabouli – will be on the beach side of the event from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.
All the way from Bradford, Surly Mustache Food Truck will be on the sledding hill side of Winterfest from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Is there an entrance fee?
No – Winterfest is free to attend. There will be many free events and activities through out the day.
There is no cost to enter the sledding races and kayak races (weather permitting).
The organizing mountain bike ride is free to participate.
DCNR and Warren YMCA will be providing family-friendly & educational activities for everyone to enjoy.
There will be an ice safety demonstration by the Glade VFW before the Polar Bear Plunge.
The Polar Bear Plunge is a fundraiser for Salvation Army, and is free to watch.
There will be food & drinks available for purchase during the event.
There are fees to enter the fishing tournament & the canine weight pull.
Do I need to pre-register for any of the events?
You do not need to pre-register for any of the Winterfest events. Registration will be taken day-of for all events.
We do ask for pre-registration for the Polar Bear Plunge, since it is a fundraising effort. Pre-register HERE for Polar Bear Plunge.
